Draft an all-time team on a budget

DraftHoops is a free basketball drafting game. You get a fixed budget and draft an eight-player roster from more than fifty years of pro basketball, every season from 1971 to today, and the cards show no stats at all. You’re picking players on memory and gut alone. Then you set their minutes and send your team into a best-of-seven series against a squad that a real player drafted.

Every player’s price reflects how good they actually were that season, so the whole game comes down to finding value. Sometimes that’s a role player who costs a fraction of a superstar. Sometimes it’s that one forgotten year when a journeyman was quietly great. An average team only just fits the budget, so every dollar you save on one pick is a dollar you get to spend winning somewhere else.
