New: Run it back
Drafted a team you love, but the season did not go your way? Now you can play it again. This one came from a player's suggestion, so thank you for that.
When your season is over, whether you missed the playoffs, got knocked out or won the title, tap Run it back with this team at the bottom of your dashboard, or in the Season over panel after a playoff exit.
- Same team: the exact roster you drafted, with the same coach. Anything that changed during the season, like trades, Trend or specializations, is reset, so you start from the team as drafted.
- New season: a new schedule, new events and new injuries. Nothing plays out the same way twice.
- As many times as you like: there is no limit, and your franchise keeps its name.
- Weekly Challenge: retries do not count toward the Weekly Challenge leaderboards or your record. Your first season with a team is the one that counts, so make it a good one. In a Custom season, run it back as often as you want.
This week's challenge: New Millennium
Every player from 2000 on, and this one is meant to be tough: less money to spend, and a season that will test your team's depth.
- Player pool: every season from 2000 to 2026.
- Salary cap: $160M, down from the usual $180M.
- Rerolls: two.
- More Setbacks: setback events come up more often during the season.
Shooting slumps, suspensions, trade requests and locker room rifts will find you more often this week. A team with one superstar and nothing behind him may not survive it, so think about who steps up when things go wrong.
What's next
A new Weekly Challenge starts every Thursday, with fresh leaderboards each time, so every week is a clean shot at the top of the board.
Good luck getting through it.
